Why Teru

Teru is the ultimate therapy support tool that is designed to help both patients and therapists get more out of each session.

Therapy homework is
not just busy work

Homework is a vital component of therapy, designed to help patients maximize the value of therapy, and implement the strategies from sessions into every day life, and facilitate progress towards their personal goals. The homework is typically reviewed and discussed during the next therapy session, and the therapist may adjust the assignments based on the individual’s progress and needs.

Patients want to heal faster,
but need guidance

Research studies have reported that although a majority of patients are assigned homework, yet the percentage of patients who actually complete the homework is relatively low. Though patients want to improve, there can be several factors that prevent them from completing therapy homework, including limited time or energy, lack of support, or mental barriers such as anxiety, depression, or trauma.

Good therapists want
their patients to heal faster

Good therapists want their patients to heal faster

It’s important to note that these are common issues, and a good therapist will work with the patient to find ways to make therapy homework more manageable and beneficial. By doing so, they put the well-being of their clients first and strive to provide the best possible care, but they don’t always have access to their patients progress between sessions.

With Teru, we can make therapy
a better experience

Teru is the first therapy support app that makes it easier for patients to complete assignments between sessions. Teru also provides valuable metrics for therapists to better understand their patients, helping them to heal faster.

Imagine patients who stay on top of their progress, spend less time in treatment and more time healing.

With Teru, patients will complete their assignments but they also gain access to personalized schedules, reminders, and more.

Therapists track their patient’s progress

Once patients complete their homework assignments, therapists can monitor their progress through the therapist portal.
