Therapist dashboard that follows patient progress
Research shows that patients have low engagement in therapy activities. On top of that, therapists have little insight into patient engagement between sessions, which may prolong the time a patient spends in therapy.
Teru is the first therapy support app that makes it easier for patients to complete assignments between sessions. Teru also provides valuable metrics for therapists to better understand their patients, helping them to heal faster.
Imagine patients who stay on top of their progress, spend less time in treatment and more time healing.
After meeting with their patients, therapists will customize the best homework plan for them, then they will upload the assignments in Teru.
With Teru, patients will complete their assignments but they also gain access to personalized schedules, reminders, and more.
Once patients complete their homework assignments, therapists can monitor their progress through the therapist portal.
Two of our founders are therapists, who felt the need for one tool that would help them follow up with client progress and encourage their patients to engage in meaningful activities between sessions.
Our third founder, Saulo went through depression and while in treatment, he felt the need for a tool to help him complete the activities his psychologist had proposed in session.
Teru is a mobile app dedicated to helping patients heal faster through science and research, guided by empathy and respect.

Saulo Vallory is our co-founder, chief technology officer, and CEO who has his own mental health journey. As a patient, he was surprised that his assigned therapy homework was paper-based, and easy to misplace. As someone struggling with depression, he felt overwhelmed with yet another thing to keep track of in his life. He wants to change that for future patients with Teru.
