John’s expertise in appraisals is supported by education and professional certifications from the International Society of Appraisers (ISA) and the Walton School of Auctioneering, as well as his extensive knowledge in antiques, fine art, jewelry, coins & currency, and decorative arts. A licensed auctioneer in both Illinois and Wisconsin, John is a proud member of multiple esteemed organizations, including the International Society of Appraisers (ISA), National Auctioneers Association (NAA), Illinois State Auctioneers Association (ISAA), American Numismatic Association (ANA), DuPage Estate Planning Council, and the Greater North Shore Estate & Financial Planning Council.
Alexandra is an esteemed appraisal professional with a diverse background in the industry. Lex gained invaluable experience as an Estate Specialist at Everything But the House and a Research and Appraisal Assistant at MIR Appraisal Service, which allowed her to develop a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the appraisal process. Her dedication to her craft is evident in her extensive educational background, having completed the Comprehensive Appraisal Studies Program at the Appraisers Association of America (AAA), as well as multiple USPAP personal property courses to stay up to date with the latest industry standards and practices. Lex is an active member of the Appraisers Association of America (AAA), showcasing her commitment to maintaining the highest level of professionalism and expertise in her field.
Carrie is an accomplished appraisal expert and seasoned leader in auction operations management. With a Master of Liberal Arts degree in art history from the University of St. Thomas, Carrie brings a well-rounded educational background to her role. With nearly a decade of experience as the Director of Operations at Susanin’s Auctions, Inc., Carrie played a vital role in the company’s success. Her commitment to professional growth is evident in her completion of core appraisal studies and USPAP personal property courses through the International Society of Appraisers. Carrie’s dedication is further showcased through her active membership in the International Society of Appraisers (ISA) and the DuPage County Estate Planning Council, as she upholds the highest standards in her field.
Laura is a dedicated appraisal and auction professional with a strong passion for antiques, furnishings, decorative arts, and gemstones. Laura has built an impressive career in the appraisal and resale industry where her attention to detail and comprehensive understanding of the estate distribution process shines through. Previously, Laura successfully managed New Uses Resale in Aurora, Illinois, and owned Viva la Vintage Resale and Consignment in Naperville, Illinois, gaining valuable hands-on experience. She completed the core course in appraisal studies, multiple USPAP personal property courses, and specialized training in antiques, furnishings, and decorative arts through the International Society of Appraisers. Laura has also pursued diamond essentials training from the Gemological Institute of America. As an active member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA), Downtown Madison Incorporated, and the Middleton Chamber of Commerce, Laura is dedicated to upholding high professional standards in her field.
Patrick is a highly accomplished appraisal expert and business development professional with extensive experience in the auction and fine art industry. With a major in art history and minor in history from Fairfield University, Patrick also holds a master’s degree in art business from Sotheby’s Institute in London. With nearly two decades at Susanin’s Auctions, Inc., Patrick advanced through various positions from Client Services, Director of Consignments and to Vice President. He completed the core course in appraisal studies and multiple USPAP personal property courses from the International Society of Appraisers and has pursued specialized training in fine art appraisal. Patrick’s commitment to his field is reflected in his membership with the International Society of Appraisers (ISA) and the Greater North Shore Estate & Financial Planning Council.
Victoria is a results-driven sales professional with extensive experience in the auction estate distribution industry. Victoria brings a strong educational foundation to her role, leveraging her experience to effectively manage and oversee the auction sale of numerous antique, jewelry, and fine art items each year. Prior to this position, Victoria held the Head of Sales role at Everything But The House in Chicago. As a member of the DuPage Estate Planning Council and the Northwest Suburban Estate Planning Council, Victoria’s commitment to her field is evident.
